The short version: Some links on Daily Crafted are affiliate links. If you click them and subscribe to or buy software, we may receive a commission. This never increases the price you pay, and software vendors can never pay to influence our reviews, rankings, or scores.

1. How We Fund Our Research

Daily Crafted operates as an independent media publication. Running a dedicated software testing lab, benchmarking enterprise tools, maintaining servers, and compensating experienced journalists requires sustained revenue.

To maintain 100% free access for our readers without putting our content behind paywalls, we participate in affiliate marketing programs with software companies and affiliate networks (such as Impact, PartnerStack, CJ, ShareASale, and direct affiliate partnerships).

2. How Affiliate Links Work

When you click a link on our website pointing to a software provider (such as ClickUp, Notion, Monday.com, or HubSpot), a tracking parameter or referral cookie may be set by the vendor. If you subsequently register for a trial or purchase a paid plan, the vendor may pay Daily Crafted a referral fee or percentage.

This does not affect the price you pay in any way. In many instances, our partnership agreements unlock exclusive discounts, extended free trials, or preferential onboarding for Daily Crafted readers.

3. Our Editorial Firewall

We maintain a strict separation between our business operations and our editorial team:

  • No Paid Reviews: We do not accept sponsored blog posts, paid reviews, or payment to include a tool in our rankings.
  • Unbiased Testing: If a tool fails our performance tests or exhibits poor user experience, we report that honestly regardless of commission rates.
  • Equal Evaluation: Tools without affiliate programs are evaluated alongside tools with affiliate programs using identical criteria.

4. Centralized Redirect Notice

For security, broken link prevention, and referral analytics, our affiliate links use a centralized redirect mechanism formatted as /go/[slug]. These links are tagged with rel="nofollow sponsored" in accordance with Google Webmaster Guidelines and FTC regulations.
